Been a while???

Yes, indeed, it has. And don't hold your breath for thinking that there will be more frequent posts for another while. Our computer has crashed. We're hoping it's just an electrical problem with that room of the house, since the light decided it didnt' want to work. Bulb works wonderfully. Light doesn't. So... here's a quick 5 minute update.

In addition to getting ready for and celebrating Thanksgiving, having a successful open house and another successful enrichment and still ANOTHER successful bazaar and now getting ready for Christmas (not ready yet...)... The Portland and Salem areas of Oregon are experiencing a wonderfully white week. Not sure if it's going to be white for Christmas, but here's to dreaming...

We've had snow all week. I LOVE IT! I even like that our school district didn't keep our kids home from school all week like other districts did. Our kids had a 2-hour delay every day, but they still had school.

And now we're getting ready to celebrate my favorite time of the year... the season where we celebrate the Birth of Christ. I love this time of the year. Even when there isn't snow. Granted, snow makes it that much better, but for now... I revel in the thought of Christ.

May this new coming year bring all the blessings we need. And... lest I forget... Here's to hoping that we have a white Christmas!
