There is no longer a screaming hunk of metal that likes to call itself a dishwasher, the island is now in the basement for laundry and those supplies, and we'll be putting the rest of the floor in later this week. (Again... "we" means "Andrew"...) Looking forward to posting a final photo!!!

Kitchen Remodel
So we took all the floor out of the kitchen - down to the subfloor (and when I say "WE", I mean "Andrew". I certainly didn't do anything...I'm not as "handy with a hammer" as Andrew is.) and had a bricklayer come to put our new hearth in. The wood cook stove will sit on top of it sometime later this week...There is no longer a screaming hunk of metal that likes to call itself a dishwasher, the island is now in the basement for laundry and those supplies, and we'll be putting the rest of the floor in later this week.
