Our Punkin' patch

Out in our little pumpkin patch with two of the cutest little punkin's you've ever seen!
Margaret Elizabeth - growing like a weed, and lovin' it!
Savannah - cute, sassy, and loving the fact that she's in the middle of the pumpkins. The pumpkin with white is the one that she made... almost all by herself! Posted by Picasa

did I hear you say that I had cookie all over my face???

Well... for your information, I'm saving it for later. Even if it does make me look rather clown-like, this is a good cookie, and later, it will go well with my rice cereal! Posted by Picasa

It's my cookie, and I love it!

Dad gave me a cookie so that he could work and i would be quiet... it put me to sleep.
Then, he tried to take my cookie away from me.
i think i need to hold it a little tighter next time. especially if I'm going to fall asleep!!! Little does he know, I'm sleeping with one eye open... he is NOT going to take my cookie away from me again! Posted by Picasa

Sunset in the valley

This is the view from our back porch. We were watching the neighbor cut our hay. This is just a small portion of our property - as soon as I get a chance, I'll take a picture towards the house of the entire back yard. It's gorgeous... Posted by Picasa

First solid foods...

Now that I'm six months old, Mom and Dad think it's time for me to start on some big people food. I LOVE the cookies. I've had my first yogurt sample from Sam's club, and some rice cereal, and some of those biter cookies. They're delicious, and I love to make a mess with them. Can you tell???

Still small enough for rubbermaid...

We do have a crib ordered, but in the meantime, we've discovered that Margaret fits nicely into a rubbermaid tote... Posted by Picasa

Sunday before church...

They handed out energizer ears to all the kids (and there weren't very many of them) at the festival... I'm assuming that most of the kids were home asleep, which is where we WOULD have been on any other day...), and knowing the level of energy that Savannah has at ANY time of the day, these seemed especially appropriate. This is after the festival in the car on the way home.
At the park while someone looks at our house... Mom is holding Margaret up so she doesn't do the "slow fall" out of the swing like she did the other day...
Savannah has learned to pump her legs to swing higher and higher... it's a benefit that I'm grateful for! Posted by Picasa

Early morning adventures

Watching the balloons inflate...
We were almost directly underneath these two, which launched within seconds of each other. Savannah was in awe... (so was Mom, if the truth be made known!)
The last picture before going home for breakfast.
Savannah's favorite, she's named it the "Strawberry Shortcake balloon" because it's, of course, strawberry shaped! Posted by Picasa

Early Sunday Morning

Tigard has an annual hot air balloon festival. In the spirit of getting up early, Savannah, Margaret and I ventured to the park to see the launching of these colorful balloons. These pictures were taken around 6 AM on Sunday, 18 June 2006.

That was then...

This was taken when Margaret was 17 days old... I just really like it.
just a little perspective on how much she's grown in the past four months. How blessed we are to have two such beautiful kids! Posted by Picasa
the color in the bedroom BEFORE the remodel... this seriously gave me some nightmares. Mostly because the colors were atrocious!

Happy Baby

Hi. I just want everyone to know how happy I really am... can you tell from the photo? And this is what I look like right after I wake up! Mom and Dad are sure glad I'm not cranky!!! Posted by Picasa

A mess of MES

So... I have something to tell you, but it's a funny story, so be ready to laugh!
Are you really taking my picture?! I'm not ready!!!
If I scream loudly enough, will you stop???
o.k. I'll just stay cheese... Posted by Picasa

Remodel Central

Andrew is a miracle worker. After being gone for a few weeks, he has been home to work on our house. It's like living in a new house!

Changes include new paint, new beadboard, new crown moulding, and voila! It's a new house. We're rather pleased with all the changes! My favorite changes include locking doorknobs on the bedroom and bathroom (helps with the privacy here...) and the full size bookshelf in the living room!

Anyway - for those of you who have been here, prepare to be amazed. For those who haven't, well... you'll see an amazing change anyway!

BEFORE the remodel...

This is our living room... before the woodstove (will be in the corner where the pictures are...)
Looking toward the kitchen - from where the wood stove will be...
Our dining room... we don't spend much time at the table here... it's too distracting.
The entry way area... and the living room. Taken from the dining room. Posted by Picasa

After the remodel...
