One of the beauties of homeschooling is that I get to choose which days are snow days, and which we still do school for even with the weather. Today, I chose to do a late start day.
And the children went outside and built... Me. Savannah said it's me. I'm still looking for the resemblance, but I love that there was enough snow for the kids to be outside and building stuff. For an hour. LeGrand came back in with soaked feet, but he was thrilled to have been outside playing.
The snow was more of chunky rain, and I'm certain it won't last, but hey. Since we don't get snow that often here, it's been fun to have some coming down the last two days! And maybe, just maybe, we'll have more in the morning! Here's to hoping.....!
